International Updates
International facilities that join NRCPR will be able to use the software to enter
data and generate local reports. Currently, comparison data is not available for international facilities.
Below are FAQs specific to the international community. These FAQs support the FAQs found on other pages of this site and will help identify
differences between international and US participation.
International FAQs
-
Will international facilities have to pay additional fees to participate?
The subscription fee structure will be the same for international facilities and US facilities. However, international facilities will have to pay for any additional costs associated with being an international participant (tariffs, legal fees, postage, etc.). A subscription fee schedule (USD) can be obtained from any of the AHA's distributors.

-
Will international
data be included in the comparison data?
Not at this time, due to complex international patient data transfer laws. Each international facility will maintain their own data and will be able to generate reports within the software.
-
Will participants
be able to compare local data with national and international comparison groups
separately?
As international facilities join NRCPR, the SAB, AHA and DI will be evaluating how to provide them with comparison data.
-
What languages will
be accepted by NRCPR?
Currently, NRCPR will only be able to accommodate English. In the future, NRCPR will be evaluating the possibilities of expanding its language base.
-
How will the NRCPR
accommodate the international differences in dates, postal codes, and telephone
numbers?
The NRCPR Data Collection Software accommodates multiple formats for dates (MDY, DMY, etc.), postal codes (alpha-numeric), and telephone numbers. As the number of participating countries grows, the NRCPR will continue to monitor the unique needs of its international participants and address them on an "as needed" basis.
-
What Technical/Clinical
Support will be available for international participants?
The NRCPR will provide English-only support via email, phone and fax during regular business hours (Eastern Time Zone). While most questions are resolved within 24 hours, time differences associated with international participation may require an additional day in some situations.
